What is GYST?
GYST is an iPhone app for EV owners that plans trips around your life. It builds routes with charging stops included, compares fastest, balanced, and cheapest options, estimates the trip's cost up front, and includes an AI Trip Concierge you can plan with in plain language.
How do I plan an EV road trip with GYST?
Enter your destination (or just describe the trip to the AI Concierge). GYST returns three route options — fastest, balanced, cheapest — with charging stops placed around where you'd want to stop anyway. Pick one, see the estimated cost, and follow the live trip tracking as you drive.
How does the beta work?
Join the email waitlist and we'll invite testers in batches via TestFlight. During the beta, every tester gets all Pro features free — unlimited AI Concierge, trip sharing, templates, reservations, and personalized recommendations.
What does the beta cost?
Nothing. The beta is free, Pro features included.
What devices does GYST support?
iPhone running iOS 18 or later. No iPad or Android version yet.
What happens to my location data?
Your routes are planned using Apple Maps and your live location stays on your device — we don't store it on our servers. Trips you choose to save or share sync to our backend, where they're protected by per-user access controls and are never sold or shared with anyone.
What happens to my email if I join the waitlist?
It's stored securely, used only for beta invites and GYST updates, and never sold.
