Terms of Use

The short version

GYST is beta software. It's provided as-is, free during the beta, and it will occasionally be wrong. Don't rely on it as your only source for navigation or charging decisions.

The terms

1. Beta software. GYST is under active development. Features may change, break, or be removed. Availability isn't guaranteed.
2. Estimates, not guarantees. Routes, charging stops, range predictions, charger availability, and cost estimates are informational only. Road conditions, charger status, network pricing, and your vehicle's real-world range can all differ from what's shown. You are responsible for your own driving and charging decisions.
3. Acceptable use. Use GYST only for its intended purpose of planning and tracking EV trips. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer the app, or submit false charger or hidden-gem reports.
4. Intellectual property. GYST's app, branding, and content are owned by its developers. Your trip and account data remain yours; using the app doesn't transfer any rights to our software or brand.
5. No warranty. The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
6. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, GYST and its developers are not liable for damages arising from use of the app, including missed charges, route errors, or data inaccuracies.
7. Your account. Keep your account credentials to yourself. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
8. Pricing. GYST is free during the beta. If that changes, we'll say so clearly before charging anyone anything.
9. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Province of Ontario, Canada.
